was born in Luzern, Swiss, where she received her singing and musical education. After first theatre experience in her hometown and in Zürich, she was an ensemble member of Opernhause Köln, and at the same time she gave guest performances at the Hamburgische Staatsoper, the Glyndebourn Festival and the Salzburg Festival. After making a firm engagement with the Deutschen Oper Berlin she was active as representative of playing such roles from Lyric-soprano to youth (recently "Grafin" in Figaros Hochzeit, "Agathe" in Freischutz, "Marshallin" in Rosenkavalier) among others on the following opera houses: Covent Garden, Metropolitan, Bayerische Staatsoper, Opera de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper. Besides the opera performance she devoted herself to regular concert activities as lied and oratorio singer, and toured worldwide.
She has made records of her complete repertoire with famous orchestras and conductors. Since 1979 she is Bayern court singer, and since 1992 professor at the University of Music Vienna.

BRUNO CANINO
piano
Born in Naples in 1935, began studying piano with Vincenzo Vitale. He graduated then in Milan in piano and composition, pupil of Enzo Calace and Bruno Bettinelli.
He carries on an intense activity as soloist, works in orchestras, chamber music groups and collaborates with artists like Salvatore Accardo, Lynn Harell, Itzhak Perlman, Victoria Mullova; besides he plays in piano duo with Antonio Ballista and is member of the Trio di Milano.
Recordings are Bach Violin Sonatas and compositions by Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Ravel with V. Mullova, Mendelssohn's works for cello and piano with L. Harrell, Bach's Goldberg Variations, Bach's Concertos together with Andras Schiff and Peter Serkin.
He holds piano and chamber music master classes for various European institutions and teaches at the Conservatory of Bern, Switzerland.

FERENC BOGNAR
piano
1949 born in Szombathely, Hungary, He studied with Imre Ungar and Ferenc Rados, who educated many world famous pianists, at the Franz Liszt Music Academy In Budapest. After obtaining his concert diploma with excellence he taught at the Conservatory Szombathely. At the same time he was busy performing as a soloist and in chamber music at the international Bartok-Seminar there.
He started his worldwide concert activity already In his student time, touring as a soloist in such countries as France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and so on. He has performed with world famous players, and is regularly invited to Important festivals to play in chamber music. He has been recording the whole Bartok oeuvre for Camerata.
He lives in Austria since 1981, and holds the post of professor of piano at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory.

KEIKO TOYAMA

born in Tokyo, Keiko Toyama studied her piano lessons with Prof. S.Inoue in her infancy. When Alfred Cortot visited Japan she had a fortunate encounter with the Maestro, who invited her to France to study at l'Ecole Normale Superieure de Musique de Paris, where she acquired a Licence d'enseigement and a Licence de concert as well.
Since her debut in 1963 she has been on concert tours principally in Europe and America, performing with the Orchestral National de Paris (Charles Munch), the Orchestral National de Lyon, the Salzburg Camerata (Sandra Vegh), the Vienna String Quartet and many world famous artists like Carlo Zecchi, Maurice Gendron among others. In Japan also she has given many recitals, concerts and chamber music performances.
She enjoyed a high reputation in her country for her Debussy and Mozart chamber music series. In 1978 she was awarded the Society of Chopin Prize.
She has distinction of being one of the few personal disciples of Alfred Cortot who regarded her as a "priz-fruit" among his coterie of artists.
She made many recordings for Camerata. She has been on the faculty of the Kusatsu Music Academy since 1ts start, and devoted her enthusiasm especially to chamber music.

ANTHONY SPIRI

Born in New Jersey and studied in Cleveland and Boston, thereafter receiving an IBM grant to carry on further study in piano and historical keyboard instruments in Europe. He received his diploma from the Mozarteum in Salzburg with special distinction. His teachers included Erika Frieser, Hans Leygraf, Kenneth Gilbert and Erik Werba. Spiri soon began appearing with many noted musicians and at many important festivals in Austria, Germany and later throughout Europe. From 1987 to 1993 he was assistant to Nikolaus Harnoncourt and performed frequently with the Concentus Musicus of Vienna. He has performed regularly with such artists as E. Mathis, P. Schreier, M. Lipovsek, B. Fink C. Schäfer, O.Bär, Aulos Wind Quintet, Pto Arte Quartet, Ensemble Wien-Berlin, G. Kremer, T. Zehetmair and other well-known instrumentalists. He has perforemed as soloist under conductors including N. Harnoncourt, M. Tilson-Thoms, S. Vegh, L. Hager, C. Hogwood and F. Welser-Möst and with orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestras of Europe, the Camerata Academica Salzburg, Cologne Orchestra and Austrian Radio Orchesta among others. He has made numerous CD's with repertoire from the Baroque up to Reger, Gershwin and Milhaud. He is professor of chamber music at the Musikhochschule in Cologne, and of lied interpretation at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
